Located next to the old John O'Groats hotel, the multi-directional signpost/milepost was installed in 1964 to mark "Journey's End", the very top of mainland UK. Over the years, the signpost would be replaced or stolen many times. All visitors make sure their photo is taken next to the sign, which still holds quite a fascination.
