I've been told this scene, and the Peggy's Cove lighthouse, are are the most photographed sites there. (You can see why.) Various articles write that there are well below 100 permanent residents that live in this quaint popular fishing village. The lobster businesses are usually a family affair. And traps are checked at least once a day, during the 6 month window of lobster season. For those who might want to visit, it's just over 25 miles from downtown Halifax.
