ABOUT ME
Hi Everyone,
I'm happy you've found my website - I hope you enjoy the naturescape / landscape images that you see in the Collection.
A bit of background before my photography journey: For years, I worked in television production, as a script supervisor, working on various situation comedies and children's shows. If you're curious, you can find many of my credits here, on the Internet Movie Database. (P.S. "Production Associate" was the Directors Guild of America title for Script Supervisor, which belonged to the IATSE local craft union. "Assistant to the Producer" also meant script supervisor, but non-union at the time )
When I chose to take a new path, I returned something I always loved to do - taking pictures!
I've enjoyed the process of making photography more than a hobby. Walking around my neighborhood at different times of the year always offers new perspectives. Fortunately, I have been able to travel a bit, and have taken some images that you might find inspiring, colorful, dynamic, pretty, or just fun.
These images could be a perfect fit to display in your home or work space.
As with all photographs, make sure they are not displayed where there is direct sunlight.

Photo Papers and Inks Used:
After doing much research on photo papers, (and there's LOTS of research on fine art papers!), I've chosen ones that will complement the images. Papers include Red River Palo Duro Soft Gloss Rag, Red River 75lb Arctic Polar Luster, and Ilford Galerie Prestige Gold Fibre Silk. They are all archival and considered to be upscale papers.
Printing is done on a professional printer, which uses pigment inks, not dye-based inks. Enthusiasts often use dye based inks, and are the standard ink type used in inkjet printers. They consist of colorant that is fully dissolved and suspended in liquid. Pigmented ink consists of a very fine powder of solid colorant particles suspended in a liquid carrier. Photographers that intend to sell their prints, usually (but not always) use pigmented inks.

Paper Sizes
The photographs offered here, are available in the paper size of 13" x 19".
I've found that this is a "sweet spot" size - there's usually a spot on a wall for that size! Landscape images will usually display better in this larger paper size, rather than an 11" x 14" size.
Price: $100 plus shipping , and tax is calculated, if shipped to an address in California.
Please inquire if you are interested in a different size. I'll let you know what is available, and the price.

Signing Your Prints
I will sign all images that you order, under the image on the bottom right, in the border, with an archival pigment pen. I'm also happy to personalize prints for you. If you have a specific request, let me know in the "instructions" field.
Calibration - And the Importance of Monitor Calibration
Calibrating a monitor ensures that colors are displayed accurately, as well as consistently across every display, even when printed. Most users find bright high contrast displays more appealing, but for people who want accurate colors, calibration is essential.
It's likely that when visiting this website, viewing the photos online, what you see on your monitor is brighter than the print(s) you will receive from me. (Most people calibrate their monitors to display very bright). So please be aware that unless your monitor is calibrated, the photos you order from me will probably be darker than what you are looking at now. There are lots of websites discussing calibration if you'd like to learn more.
Shipping
Items will be shipped by Priority Mail with Tracking information, or by FedEx Ground or Home. Items will be shipped in a mailing tube. Domestic shipping cost is a flat rate of $15, UNLESS an order is too large to fit everything in one shipment. It's not anticipated that this will be an issue, but it's a "just in case" mention here. Shipping to Canada is a flat rate of $20 per order, by First Class International. If an item is damaged upon arrival, please email me immediately with a photo or two of the damage, and I will expedite a replacement.
