Purple Striped Jelly (jellyfish) Underside at the Monterey Bay Aquarium
This is the underside of the purple striped jelly, and ebbs and flows with the currents. Summer currents bring it to the nearby shores in Monterey. You're warned to keep our distance because their sting can be pretty painful. But they're beautiful to watch! This image is also available in an 11" x 14" paper size, and would look great if grouped with one or two or three (!) other jellyfish photos.
